~Be sure to listen to message number nine in our series The Fury of God entitled The Anger of Jesus. Our culture's love for tolerance and disdain for open confrontation has lead to a deceiving portrait of Christ that paints him as an all loving, all gracious, and all compassionate individual. The Bible paints a different picture of a Christ who loved the poor in spirit, but hated the self-righteous, and unrepentant. In this message we see a Jesus who despised tolerance and had a passion for open confrontation of sin.
